Living with a loved one who has special needs is challenging because no matter how much we care and how hard we try, none of us is superhuman. We all need a break, even though it is understandable that it is not their fault that there is a constant demand.
Short Notice Placements
Short notice placements are a crucial component of our services and are frequently requested for various reasons.
Whatever the cause, we have staff on hand to offer support immediately.
We do everything we can to ease the stress and provide families with the much-needed respite they may be in need of. We recognise how difficult it is to provide daily care for a loved one with such complicated demands; it is a responsibility that no one should bear alone.
Autism may not make sense to those who are not on the spectrum, but it's important to realise that it does to those who are. The world can appear and function differently for those with autism, and while their thought patterns and behaviours may seem strange to us, they are completely normal to them. Keeping this in mind when supporting a client with autism makes the support session enjoyable and simple.
